Urządzenie ma dwie dławice (7, 8) prowadzące tłoczysko (5) umieszczone po jednej stronie tłoka (4), przy czym wewnętrzna dławica (7) dzieli wewnętrzną przestrzeń zamkniętego cylindra (1) na komorę roboczą (10) ograniczoną osiowo powierzchnią wewnętrzną denka (2) i komorę smarującą (9) ograniczoną osiowo powierzchnią wewnętrzną zewnętrznej dławicy (8). Komora robocza (10) ma strefę przepływową (11) o zwiększonej średnicy wewnętrznej cylindra (1), umieszczoną w sąsiedztwie wewnętrznej dławicy (7) oraz strefę sprężania (12) o średnicy wewnętrznej cylindra (1) spasowanej suwliwie z zewnętrzną średnicą tłoka (4).
