A truncated cone-shaped vase for short cut flowers has a height to base diameter ratio of 1:1 to 1:1.2, and the diameter of the top rim of the embedded element is 10% larger than the diameter of the vase base, as shown in Figure 2. Well-known decorative motifs can be applied to the surface of a vase made in this way to enhance its aesthetic value.
