The essence of the chain is that it consists of variously sized ellipsoidal elements, slid onto a string or thread in a three-on-one sequence, with larger elements slid along the shorter axis of symmetry, and smaller elements along the longer axis of symmetry. Between all the elements is a small spacer with a rectangular cross-section. Variation III: The chain object is shown in a drawing, where Fig. 3 is a side view. The essence of the chain is that it consists of variously sized ellipsoidal elements, slid onto a string or thread in a three-on-one sequence. All elements are slid along the longer axis of symmetry. A small separating element with a rectangular cross-section is placed between all elements. Variation IV: The chain is shown in the drawing, where Fig. 4 is a side view. The chain is composed of spherical and ellipsoidal elements, with the spherical elements being significantly smaller than the ellipsoidal elements.
