The subject of the industrial design is shown in the attached photographs, which show: Photo 1 - a view of the element; Photo 2 - a side view of the furniture on which the decorative element is mounted, the interior of which is filled with a material in a color contrasting with the color of the furniture's exterior material. There are many varieties of decorative elements that are permanently mounted on the side surfaces of upholstered furniture. These are typically symmetrically shaped wooden elements with a varnish coating. The essence of an industrial design is a new form of the decorative element, manifested in a specific shape, giving the furniture an original and aesthetic "design." Essential Features of an Industrial Design: The decorative element in the industrial design takes the form of a three-dimensional teardrop-shaped shape, the outer, middle, and inner contours of which are essentially parallel, with its outer contour terminating in a curved nose, resembling a crawling snail. The central contour of the element is a metallized finishing strip pressed vertically into the groove.
