Essential Features of an Industrial Design Essential features of an industrial design include the upholstery fabric being decorated with a pattern whose dominant element is a fanciful arrangement of lines stylizing the outline of flower petals. The lines stylizing the contours of the flower petals are made of a material with a fleshy, fluffy, and rough texture, composed of tiny tufts of hairs that adhere closely to each other and bend in different directions when touched. The decorations placed within these outlines take the form of smooth, and sometimes convex, matte or glossy fields, as well as lines of varying thicknesses, filling these fields as decorations for the flower petals. The remaining fields forming the pattern are small, interwoven matte and shiny threads or decorated with transverse shiny lines. Some decorative elements have the outline of smooth, shiny crescents, adorned on the more arcuate edge with an insert in the form of a narrow crescent, decorated with transverse speckles. Some of the fields not filling the petals are smooth, with borders along part of their circumference. Inside, a shiny graphic motif depicting stylized branches with leaves is placed.
