The essence of the design is a new and unique form of the product, given to it by the characteristics of lines, contours, shapes, structure, and ornamentation. The product is suitable for multiple reproduction. The subject of the industrial design is presented in the attached photograph, illustrating the fabric from a top view. The upholstery fabric, according to the industrial design, is made from natural and synthetic fibers. The essential features of an industrial design include the distinctive pattern and texture of upholstery fabric, characterized by the uneven thickness of the warp and weft threads, which create linear ridges on the fabric's surface, stylizing the appearance of raindrops streaming down a windowpane. The fabric's pattern features a plant motif depicting twigs with adjoining leaves, flowers, and flower buds. The outlines of individual design elements—branches, leaves, flowers, and flower buds—are filled with varying shades of the same color, creating a multi-tone effect. The elements of the pattern visible in the foreground overlap with the less visible elements of the pattern in the background.
