Description
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób wytwarzania nowego 6,10-dimetylo-l-undecen-4-olu o wzorze przedstawionym na rysunku. Zwiazek ten jest alkoholem zapachowym, stosowanym jako skladnik kompozycji perfumeryjnych.Istota wynalazku polega na reakcji Grignarda halogenku allilomagnezowego z 3,7- dimetylooktanalem.Zwiazek chemiczny wytworzony sposobem wedlug wynalazku ma intensywny, przyjemny zapach kwiatowy z nuta rózana.Sposób wedlug wynalazku objasniony jest na przykladzie wytwarzania 6,10-dimetylo-l- undecen-4-olu.P r z y k l a d. Do 75 ml absolutnego eteru etylowego i 12,2 g (0,5 mola) wiórków magnezowych wkrapla sie, ciagle mieszajac, 60,5 g (0,5 mola) bromku allilu rozpuszczonego w 100 ml absolutnego eteru etylowego z szybkoscia pozwalajaca na utrzymanie lagodnego wrzenia mieszaniny. Po przereagowaniu magnezu dodaje sie 62,4 g (0,4 mola) 3,7-dimetylooktanalu rozpuszczonego w 50 ml eteru absolutnego. Po 2 godzinach mieszania do kolby reakcyjnej dodaje sie nasycony roztwór chlorku amonu, po czym oddziela warstwe eterowa, a wodna ekstrahuje dwukrotnie eterem etylowym, Polaczone roztwory eterowe przemywa sie nasyconym roztworem kwasnego weglanu sodu i chlorku sodu, suszy bezwodnym siarczanem magnezu, filtruje, a nastepnie poddaje destylacji prózniowej po uprzednim odpedzeniu rozpuszczalnika. Otrzymuje sie 64,1 g (81% wydaj¬ nosci teoretycznej) 6,10-dimetylo-l-undecen-4-olu.
