Office furniture in accordance with the industrial design includes: a wardrobe, a shelf, a glass-fronted wardrobe, a shelf with drawers, a cabinet, an open shelf, a chest of drawers, a desk, a table, and a connecting piece. The essence of an industrial design is a new form of an object, aimed at aesthetic purposes, manifested in its shape and the arrangement of the edges of its components. The table features a top whose two parallel sides have elliptical side surfaces, a cross-section shown in Fig. 17, and an 8mm-wide recess along its entire length, terminating in a diagonal cutout. The table is supported on two board elements. The connector has a quarter-circle top with an ellipse-shaped side surface, the cross-section of which is shown in Fig. 17, and an 8mm-wide groove along its entire length, ending with a diagonal notch. Essential features of the industrial design: The wardrobe, shelving unit, glass-fronted wardrobe, drawer unit, cabinet, open shelving unit, and chest of drawers have side walls that protrude above the top, creating an open shelf. The front and top narrow surfaces of the side walls of a wardrobe, shelving unit, glass-fronted wardrobe, drawer unit, cabinet, open shelving unit, and chest of drawers are profiled as an ellipse, with their joints rounded by a radius.
