Rectangular coffee tables are known, as are modern coffee tables with four straight legs with rectangular, square, or circular cross-sections. A coffee table based on the industrial design has a rectangular top with an internal rectangular cutout, a shelf suspended beneath the top, supported by the edges of the four legs, and legs bent at an angle. Each leg is shaped like a flat trapezoid that tapers towards the bottom. The leg is bent parabolically inward at a height of one-third from the top, where the shelf attaches. The industrial design is intended for reproduction in industrial production.
