Abstract
[Problem] To provide a release film for ceramic green sheet formation, wherein the release film has excellent peeling properties and damage such as cracks is unlikely to occur in a half-cut test for ultra-thin ceramic green sheets formed therewith. [Solution] A release film for ceramic green sheet production in which a release layer is laminated onto at least one surface of a polyester film either directly or with another layer therebetween, the release layer being formed by curing a coating that includes at least an energy ray-curable compound (I), a polyester resin (II), and a release component (III), and the polyester resin (II) containing an ester structural unit derived from a 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid component.
