Abstract

It is an object of the present invention to provide a release film for forming of a ceramic green sheet, which has excellent peelability and is less likely to cause damage such as cracks in a half cut test for a super-thin ceramic green sheet to be formed. A release film for production of a ceramic green sheet, the release film including: a polyester film; and a release layer laminated on at least one surface of the polyester film directly or with another layer interposed therebetween, wherein: the release layer is formed by curing a coating film containing at least an energy ray- curable compound (I), a polyester resin (II), and a release component (III); and the polyester resin (II) contains an ester structural unit derived from a 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid component.
