Abstract

A technology capable of suppressing increase in the side of a motorcycle provided with an exhaust gas sensor in proximity to a muffler is provided. A motorcycle 10 includes: a swing arm 16 rotatably supporting a rear wheel; an exhaust pipe 41; a muffler 43 placed outside the swing arm 16 and connected to the exhaust pipe 41; a catalyst provided in the exhaust pipe 41; and an exhaust gas sensor 67 capable of detecting the exhaust gas components in the exhaust pipe 41. The muffler 43 includes a radially enlarged portion 95 gradually increased in diameter. The exhaust gas sensor 67 is attached to the radially enlarged portion 95 and is provided between the exhaust pipe 41 and the swing arm 16. The radially enlarged portion 95 is provided with a recess 121 and the exhaust gas sensor 67 is installed in the recess 121.
