Abstract

Se proporcionan procedimientos en los que se pueden realizar etapas sucesivas de extraccion de valores hidrometalurgicos usando los productos de captura de carbono y un procedimiento de generacion de reactivos electroliticos. El procedimiento electrolitico proporciona un lixiviante acido y un hidroxido alcalino, estando el hidroxido alcalino disponible para su uso ya sea directamente como precipitante en las etapas hidrometalurgicas, o disponible para la conversion por captura de carbono en un carbonato de metal alcalino que, a su vez, puede usarse como precipitante en las etapas hidrometalurgicas selectivas.
