Abstract
Se describe un metodo para recuperar litio de una fuente acuosa. El litio se extrae de la fuente acuosa utilizando un proceso de sorcion/desorcion para formar un extracto de litio. Se eliminan impurezas del extracto de litio para formar un extracto de litio purificado y el extracto de litio purificado se concentra utilizando un proceso de eliminacion de agua, para formar un concentrado de litio. El concentrado de litio luego se convierte en uno o mas de carbonato de litio e hidroxido de litio para formar una corriente convertida. Varias corrientes, incluidas algunas corrientes que contienen litio, se reciclan para el proceso de sorcion/desorcion.
