Abstract
Se desvelan sistemas y metodos para reducir el tamano de neumaticos. Un aparato de reduccion de tamano automatico comprende una cuna, una mesa de mandril, un aparato de corte y una unidad de control. Un neumatico montado en la cuna se puede recibir por la mesa de mandril movil y giratoria, y situarse para su acoplamiento con el aparato de corte. Un usuario puede personalizar una configuracion de corte para que la unidad de control la ejecute. La unidad de control situa la mesa de mandril y el aparato de corte para eliminar porciones del neumatico, de acuerdo con la configuracion de corte. Durante la operacion, uno o mas parametros del sistema pueden vigilarse para determinar el cumplimiento de la configuracion seleccionada, y la ejecucion automatica puede anularse manualmente.
