Abstract
En un método para configurar un dispositivo anfitrión en una planta de control de proceso para llevar a cabo automáticamente una acción o un conjunto de acciones se genera una plantilla de flujo de trabajo. La plantilla de flujo de trabajo incluye una secuencia de uno o más pasos para que sean llevados a cabo por el dispositivo anfitrión. Cada uno de al menos algunos de los uno o más pasos se selecciona de un conjunto de pasos predeterminados. Luego, se genera una instancia de la plantilla de flujo de trabajo en el dispositivo anfitrión. Se genera una condición desencadenante para desencadenar automáticamente la instancia de flujo de trabajo. La secuencia del uno o más pasos se ejecuta en respuesta a la detección de la condición desencadenante.
