Abstract
Un consumible derivado de algas que comprende: (i) una biomasa de algas derivada de al menos una especie de alga, como Klebsormidium; y (ii) opcionalmente al menos un ingrediente adicional, como ingredientes saborizantes, colorantes, condimentos, aditivos alimenticios, componentes alimentarios y nutrientes. El consumible puede comprender un suplemento alimenticio, un ingrediente alimentario o un producto alimentario terminado. Un metodo para fabricar un consumible que incluye: cosechar algas humedas en estado natural, eliminar el agua para producir un material de algas deshidratado; cortar y/o moldear opcionalmente el material deshidratado; secar; y opcionalmente condimentar.
