Abstract
Se refiere a un metodo para transformar el terreno existente de un sitio determinado en un terreno de cimentacion mas estable. El metodo incluye las etapas de definir un area delineada sobre una superficie del terreno existente, excavar el suelo a lo largo del area delineada hasta una profundidad que se extiende a traves de capas de diferentes tipos de suelo; acondicionar el suelo excavado mezclando capas de diferentes tipos de suelo homogeneamente, que incluye en algunos casos suelo importado de una fuente externa; regresar el suelo acondicionado al area delineada para llenar la profundidad excavada, y compactar el suelo acondicionado retornado al area delineada, formando asi el terreno de cimentacion estable de alta capacidad estructural y baja compresibilidad
