Abstract

Se proporciona un método para transformar el terreno existente de un sitio determinado en un terreno de cimentación más estable. El método incluye las etapas de definir un área delineada sobre una superficie del terreno existente, excavar el suelo a lo largo del área delineada hasta una profundidad que se extiende a través de capas de diferentes tipos de suelo; acondicionar el suelo excavado mezclando capas de diferentes tipos de suelo homogéneamente, que incluye en algunos casos suelo importado de una fuente externa; regresar el suelo acondicionado al área delineada para llenar la profundidad excavada, y compactar el suelo acondicionado retornado al área delineada, formando así el terreno de cimentación estable de alta capacidad estructural y baja compresibilidad.
