Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un proceso para separar una suspension que comprende solidos en forma de particulas dispersos en un liquido acuoso, para dar una porcion de liquido y una porcion de solidos, proceso que comprende los pasos de transferencia de la suspension al hacerla fluir a un area de desechos, lo que somete a la suspension a un sistema de tratamiento durante la transferencia, y permite en el area de desechos que la suspension se separe para dar la porcion de liquido y la porcion de solidos, en el cual el sistema de tratamiento comprende, (a) un polimero hidrosoluble; y (b) un agente quimico seleccionado de entre por lo menos uno de entre un agente oxidante, un agente reductor y/o un agente de radicales libres. Los inventores han comprobado que el sistema de tratamiento posibilita que una porcion de solidos sea depositada, la que puede ser formada mediante una rigidificacion inicial de los solidos acompanada de una liberacion de fluido inicial, a la que sigue otra consolidacion de los solidos rigidificados con la liberacion posterior de liquido
