EL METODO COMPRENDE: a) LIXIVIAR EL CONCENTRADO EN CONDICIONES ATMOSFERICAS USANDO UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE CLORURO DE COBRE (I) ALCALINO, EN DONDE EL POTENCIAL ES REGULADO PARA QUE SEA DE POR LO MENOS 600 mV Ag/AgCl AL FINAL DE LA LIXIVIACION Y EL ORO DISUELTO SEA RECUPERADO; b) EFECTUAR LA SEPARACION FISICA DEL PRECIPITADO QUE PERMANECE NO DISUELTO EN (a), CON EL CUAL EL MATERIAL FINO ES SEPARADO DESDE EL PRIMER PRODUCTO INTERMEDIARIO CONTENIENDO ORO, EL CUAL INCLUYE PIRITA, ARSENOPIRITA Y MINERALES DE GANGA GRUESOS; c) TRITURAR EL PRIMER INTERMEDIARIO HASTA UN TAMANO DE PARTICULA d80 ENTRE 5 Y 45 MICROMETROS, Y EL SEGUNDO INTERMEDIARIO GENERADO ES LIXIVIADO PARA LIXIVIAR LA PIRITA Y LA ARSENOPIRITA Y LA PARTE CONTENIENDO ORO DE LA LIXIVIACION ES RETORNADA A (a). LOS FINOS A SEPARAR CONTIENEN AZUFRE ELEMENTAL ASI COMO LA MAYOR PARTE DE LOS OXIDOS DE HIERRO Y DE ARSENICO.
