Abstract

Disclosed is a yarn containing polyamide for producing artificial grass. The yarn, in addition to polyamide, also contains a polyolefin compound selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, LLDPE and a block copolymer of polypropylene and polyethylene. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing such a yarn and a field of artificial grass made from such yarns.
