Polysakkarider oppnådd ved ekstrudering er fremlagt som er spesielle ved det at de er direkte akariogene uten at det er nødvendig for dem å gjennomgå ytterligere behandling etter ekstrudering for å fjerne fermenterbare forbindelser ansvarlige for dental caries. En fremgangsmåte for fremstillingen av slike polysakkarider er også beskrevet.Polysaccharides obtained by extrusion are presented which are special in that they are direct acaryogens without the need for them to undergo further post-extrusion treatment to remove fermentable compounds responsible for dental caries. A process for the preparation of such polysaccharides is also described.
