Abstract
Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer en induktor som innbefatter en langstrakt ledeskinne (10) med rektangulært tverrsnitt, hvor i det minste en del av skinnen er omgitt av en hylse (20) som tilveiebringer i det vesentligste ingen elektrisk ledningsbane gjennom hylsen i en retning bort fra ledeskinnen. En slik hylse (20) konsentrerer de magnetiske flukslinjene i hylsen. Fordelen med en slik induktor er at ved høyere frekvenser (for eksempel over 100Hz) blir virkningene av skinneffekten redusert mens belastningen på induktoren ved lavere frekvenser men høyere strømmer også reduseres.
