Abstract
Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer en induktor som innbefatter en langstrakt ledeskinne (10) med rektangulært tverrsnitt, hvor i det minste en del av skinnen er omgitt av en hylse (20) som tilveiebringer i det vesentligste ingen elektrisk ledningsbane gjennom hylsen i en retning bort fra ledeskinnen. Fordelen med en slik induktor er at ved høyere frekvenser (for eksempel over 100Hz) blir virkningene av skinneffekten redusert mens belastningen på induktoren ved lavere frekvenser men høyere strømmer også reduseres.The invention provides an inductor which includes an elongate guide rail (10) having a rectangular cross-section, wherein at least a portion of the rail is surrounded by a sleeve (20) which provides substantially no electrical lead path through the sleeve in a direction away from the guide rail. Such a sleeve (20) concentrates the magnetic flux lines in the sleeve. The advantage of such an inductor is that at higher frequencies (for example above 100Hz) the effects of the rail power are reduced while the load on the inductor at lower frequencies but higher currents is also reduced.
