Abstract
Forsterker i mikrobølgeområdet og med stor forsterkning og jevn amplitude/frek- vensrespons. Dette er oppnådd ved at man i en forsterkerboks (30) med lokk (31) hvor det er avsatt et hulrom (33) er lagt inn sekundære bølgeledere (41-43) som deler opp det indre i boksen slik at ut- gangssignalene fra forsterkeren ikke kan stråle tilbake som mikrobølger, på grunn av at den nedre grensefrekvens i disse sekundære bølgeledere er for høy. Man kan da unngå å legge inn dempemateriale i de åpne rom i forsterkerboksen, men får like- vel bedre dempning mellom utgang og inn- gang, slik at parasittfenomener og fluk- tuasjoner i passbåndet unngås. Således kan man i en og samme forsterkerboks (30) ha forsterkerkretser (l, 19) som til sammen gir en forsterkning opp mot 90 dB, mens man tidligere måtte holde seg under ca. 45 dB.
