Abstract
En kabel med et i hovedsaken gass-tett metallrør (20) som opptar minst én optisk leder (10 - 18) og et hydrogenabsorberende stoff. Innersiden av røret (20) er dekket av et lag (22) av et katalysatorstoff, så som nikkel eller krom, for katalysering av den reaksjon ved hvilken det hydrogenabsorberende stoff absorberer hydrogen. Det nevnte lag (22) er selv dekket at minst ett lag (30) av hydrogenabsorberende stoff som utgjør et fyllmateriale for fylling av røret (20), eller som bare danner et lag som er avsatt på laget (22) av katalysa-torstof f.
