Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen vedrører en frem- gangsmåte for fordøyelige fettfri chips. Fremgangs- måten ved fremstillingen av fettfrie maischips om- fatter: a) å fremstille rå maischipsbiter fra en deig som inneholder en blanding av maismasse og et fettfritt fyllstoff utvalgt fra gruppen bestående av stivelse, protein og ufordøyelige fibre, og blandinger derav og vann; b) å koke de rå maischipsbitene i ufordøyelig fett ved 148,9°C til 232°C); og c) valgfritt tilsette andre ingredien- ser. Hvilken som helst rest eller indre fordøyelig fett i en 30 g porsjon er neglisjerbar og i følge en anerkjent ernæringsekspert er porsjonen fettfri.
