Abstract

En fremgangsmåte for produksjon av båndtungeemne som kan brukes for å fremstille båndtunger for bruk sammen med kasserbare absorberende gjenstander såvel som en fremgangsmåte for "on-line"-produksjon av båndtunger som kan produseres side om side med absorberende gjenstanders "understell" som båndtungene vil bli festet til. Det første trinn går ut på å fremskaffe et støttesubstrat på hvilket klebemidler for båndtungen kan påføres. Så snart støttesubstratet er fremskaffet, påføres et trykkfølsomt klebe- middel på områder av støttesubstratets ene side. (Det trykkfølsomme klebemiddel fungerer fortrinnsvis som det klebemiddel som brukes for å feste et element av den absorberende gjenstand, slik som et fremre livområde, til et annet element av den absorberende gjenstand, slik som et bakre livområde.) Båndpåføringsenheten tilskjærer enkeltvise båndtunger og påfører dem på den absorberende gjenstands "understell".
