Abstract
En multiplekser for nett av typen synkront digitalt hierarki (SDH) inneholder en invers multiplekser for asynkron overføringsmodus (ATM). Multiplekseren er typisk knyttet til en hastighetstilpasning for asynkron overføringsmodus og kan være innlemmet i et telekommunikasjonssystem som har i det minste en databane forbundet i den ene ende med den inverse multiplekser mens databanens annen ende er forbundet med en ytterligere invers multiplekser.
