Fenoksyetylamin-derivater med den generelle formel (I) med høy affinitet for 5-HTVreseptoren, metoder for fremstilling av disse, farmasøytiske preparater inneholdende derivatene og anvendelse av dem, spesielt som mavesyre-sekresjons-inhibitorer eller som anti-emetika, er beskrevet, l den generelle formel (l) er Ar fenyl substituert med en eller flere substituenter; og R er en C,.,0 hydrokarbonrest, valgt fra lineær eller forgrenet alkyl, alkenyl eller alkynyl, mettet eller umettet mono- eller polycyklisk cykloalkyl, cykloalkylalkyl eller alkylcykloalkyl; pyridyl eller isokinolyl, fenyl eventuelt substituert med en eller flere substituenter, og salter derav.
