Abstract

Et system for blaff-forbrenningsundertrykkelse som er særskilt anvendbar overfor blaff-forbrenninger som involverer brennbare gasser. Blaff- forbrenningsundertrykkeren i systemet er typisk vann (60) som dispergeres i den brennbare gass i form av en strøm av små dråper (44c) med en sauter midlere diameter på ikke over ca. 80 u,. Systemet kan inkludere en detektor for brennbart stoff. Systemet inkluderer en væskeforstøvningsinnretning (52) som forstøver væsken (60) i en bæregass (68).
