Abstract

Det beskrives liposompreparater som er i stand til effektivt å holde vannløselige substanser, særlig ikke-elektrolytiske, vannløselige substanser. Liposomene og suspensjoner derav, omfatter multi-lamellære liposomer som karakteriseres ved at liposom-membranene dannes av et nøytralt fosfolipid som omfatter en tilnærmet mettet fettsyrerest, og et ladet fosfolipid som omfatter en tilnærmet mettet fettsyrerest, hvor forholdet mellom nøytralt fosfolipid og det ladede fosfolipid utgjør fra 200:1 til 3:1, den vektsmidlere partikkelstørrelse av liposomene er 50 nm til 3000 nm og innkapslingskapasiteten av liposomene (intern vandig fase (volum)/lipider (vekt)) er minst 5 mL/g.
