Abstract

For å være i stand til å kjøle telekommunikasjonsut-styr i stativkabinetter plassert i avlukkede rom på en energi-sparende måte med høy operasjons-pålite-lighet og lite behov for vedlikehold og med få bevegelige deler, har det blitt utviklet en metode og en innretning, ved hvilke forskyvende luftdistri-busjon og tyngdekraft blir forbundet og anvendt for kjøling av nevnte utstyr. Kald inntaksluft blir distribuert ved lav hastighet, dvs. den strømmer fortrengbart ut i et rom mot stativene (2). Den kalde luften blir deretter tilført stativene for å kjøle varme-produserende deler plassert deri. Den oppvarmede luft blir deretter sluppet ut fra den øvre side av stativene og blir resirkulert ved lav hastighet for å unngå turbulens ved inntaket til kjølemaskinen.
