Abstract

Oppfinnelsens gjenstand er en leirdue som er et skålformig sammen- presset stykke laget av leire og ett eller flere tilsetningsmidler. I over- ensstemmelse med oppfinnelsen er ett av tilsetningsmidlene en kalsiumbasert forbindelse som reduserer tørkingskrym- pingen til leire og stabiliserer leiren, hvilket fortrinnsvis er kalk- steinspulver eller mørtel. Leirinnhol- det er minst 50 % og tilsetningsmiddel- innholdet 5-50 %, beregnet ut fra leir- duens tørrstoff. Leirduen kan også inneholde et annet tilsetningsmiddel som reduserer tørkingskrympningen, og en komponent som forbedrer massens plastisitet. Oppfinnelsen omfatter også en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en leirdue, hvor leire, ett eller flere tilsetningsmidler og eventuelt en kom- ponent som forbedrer blandingens plas- tisitet, blandes for å danne en masse. Vann tilsettes om nødvendig for å for- bedre massens plastisitet, massen innmates i en form i hvilken den sam- mepresses i et øyeblikk, og leirduen fjernes fra formen mens den fremdeles er i en plastisk tilstand.
