Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører organer for overføring av høyspent likestrøm, og spesielt elek-troder for bruk som en pol ved undervannsoverføring av likestrøm. Det er således fremskaffet en elektrode (2) for bruk som en pol i et overføringssystem for høyspent likestrøm (HVDC), omfattende en elektrokjemisk aktiv struktur (3). Den er kjennetegnet ved en hylse (7) som omgir nevnte elektrokjemisk aktive struktur (3), idet nevnte hylse utgjør et reaksjonskammer. Videre omfatter den organer (16) for å tilføre elektrolytt for å opprettholde de elektrokjemiske reaksjoner som finner sted ved nevnte elektrokjemisk aktive struktur (3), og organer (12, 13) for å fjerne reaksjonsprodukter som er blitt dannet i nevnte reaksjonskammer. Nevnte reaksjonsprodukter blir man av med på et sted som ligger fjernt fra nevnte elektrode.
