Abstract

Oppfinnelsen er rettet mot et 4-amino-17(3- (cyklopropyloxy) androst- 4-en-3-on, 4-amino-17|3- (cyklopropyl- amino)androst-4-en-3-on og beslekte- de forbindelser, en fremgangsmåte for deres syntese, et farmasøytisk preparat med C,7_2Q-lyase og 5a- reduktaseinhiberende aktivitet, anvendelse av foreliggende forbindel- ser som C17_20-lyase og 5a-reduktaseinhi- bitorer, og også en metode for anvendelse av slike forbindelser ved behandling av androgen- og/eller østrogen-avhengige sykdom- mer, innbefattet godartet prosta- tisk hyperplasi, brystcancer og prostatisk cancer. 4-amino- forbindelsene fremstilles ved om- setning av det egnede 4,5-epoxyd med natriumazid i et inert løsnings- middel i nærvær av en katalytisk mengde av sterk syre under egnede reaksjonsbetingelser. Alternativt fremstilles 4-aminoforbindelsene først ved nitrering og deretter reduksjon av det egnede steroid under egnede reaksjonsbetingelser.
