Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for tørking av en gass, hvor det foretas destillasjon av et væs- keformig tørkemiddel. Fremgangsmåten omfatter tilførsel av en strøm av en tilskuddsvæske inneholdende vann og et med vann blandbart organisk oppløs- ningsmiddel, hvilket oppløsningsmiddel er mer flyktig enn vann under driftsbet- ingelsene ved fremgangsmåten og ikke danner azeotroper med vann. Innføringen av tilskuddsvæsken foretas i en mellom- sone i en vertikal, langstrakt kontakt- og fraksjoneringsdestillasjonssone. Fremgangsmåten er anvendelig for tørking av gasser.
