Abstract

En lavkostnads, kompakt projlserlngsfremviserkilde (20) som tjener som en meget lys bildekllde for en selvbe- vegende oppad-seings fremviser. Den foreliggende oppfinnelse består av en høy-intensitets halogenlys- kllde (31) og en flytende-krystallfremvlser (32). Nevnte flytende-krystallfremvlser styres av frem- vlserelektronikk (14a) som skriver bilder over til nevnte flytende-krystallfremvlser som skal fremvises for føreren eller passasjerene l et kjøretøy. Lysut- matning fra nevnte høy-lntensltets lyskilde overføres gjennom et stykke av Infrarødt, energlabsorberende glass (33), en desentrert linse (34), slik som en Fresnel-llnse, og en spreder (35) som Jevnt bevirker belysning bakfra av nevnte flytende-krystallfremvlser (32). Kryssede polarlsatorer (37, 38) anvendes på hver side av nevnte flytende-krystallfremvlser (32). Høy- lntensltets lysutmatnlngen som sendes fra nevnte flytende-krystallfremvlser føres gjennom et gul-orange utmatnlngsvlndu (38) som projiseres på en torlsk kombinator for fremvisning til kjøretøyets (11) fører (17). En vifte (41) tilveiebringer kjøling for nevnte flytende-krystallfremviser og fremvisnlngskrets som danner tilpasning mellom fremvlserelektronikken og nevnte flytende-krystallfremviser. Projlseringsfrem- viserkilden frembringer en blldekilde som har en meget høy kontrast (meget lys) uten varmeproblemer. Projiser- Ingsfremvlserkllden (20) er l stand til å frembringe 215278 lumen/m2 av lysenergiutmatning. Projlserlngs- fremviserkllden er den lyseste, kjente bildekilde for ikke-mllltære oppad-seings fremvisere av enten den ikke-omkonfigurerbare eller omkonfigurerbare type. Den gul-orange fargen som anvendes for utmatningsvinduet l projiseringsfremviserkilden anvendes til å maksimali- sere fargekontrast med fremvisningsbakgrunnen.
