Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for administrering av biologiske midler til egg er beskrevet og omfatter Innføring av midlene i en partikkelformig bærer og injlsering av bæreren inn i luftcellene til eggene. Egget blir fortrinnsvis opprettholdt i en vertikal posisjon med luftcellen på toppen for å lette mlgrerlng av den partlkkelformige bærereren mellom de indre og ytre membranene som definerer luftcellen, til den lavere endene av eggen. Den partlkkelformige bæreren frigjør det biologiske midlet til det omgivende fluidet og blodårene. I tillegg blir bæreren innført l fuglen ved utklekking fra egget, og derfor fortsetter å frigjøre det biologiske midlet til fuglen utter utklekking. En sammensetning av polyestermikropartikler inneholden- de bloaktive polypeptldmidler og fremgangsmåter for fremstilling av sammensetninge og administrering av blokative midler er også beskrevet. Sammensetningen omfatter blokompatlble, blodegraderbare mikropartlkler som har en polyestermatrise og fra omtrent 5 vekt-* til omtrent 25 vekt-* av et biologisk aktivt, vannopplø- selig polypeptid dispergert i matrisen, idet polypeti- det er valgt fra gruppen bestående av vektshormonfrl- gjørende faktor, syntetiske analoger av veksthormon- frigjørende faktor og farmakologisk aktive fragmenter derav. Fremgangsmåten for administrering av et blokatlvt middel til en organisme, innbefatter suspendering av mlkropartlklene l en egnet væske og injlserlng av organismen.
