Abstract

En optoelektronlsk metode for kontinuerlig å overvåke dimensjonene til et prisme med parallellogranfornet tverrsnitt (2) på en transporter (1) som passerer med en viss hastlgbet l samsvar med en akse (OX) parallelt med aksen til det nevnte prisme, og som omfatter de følgende trinn: a) to ikke-parallelle flater av det nevnte prisme betraktes l samsvar med retningene (OY, OZ) loddrett på hver av dem. Ved et gitt tidspunkt blir de to vinkel- målingene (a, p) oppnådd og er benyttet til posisjonene av de tre kantene som definerer disse to flatene. b) posisjonen til kanten som er felles for begge flatene, blir beregnet med referanse til den ene eller den andre av de nevnte retningene (OY, OZ), c) den eksakte posisjon til den felles kanten blir bestemt i samsvar med de to retningene (OY, OZ) ved gjentagelser på basis av de tidligere to vinkel- målingene (a, e) og beregningen, idet gjentagelsene opphører når forskjellen i to påfølgende tilnærmelser av den nevnte posisjon l samsvar med hver av retningene (OY, OZ) er mindre enn den krevede nøyaktighet.
