Abstract
Lukkehøyden til et krympeformsett (9) for å krympe en elektrisk terminal (T) på en ambolt (22) til en ledning (L) er trinnvis justerbar ved hjelp av en skive (60) som kan drives av en servomotor (Ml) til flere vinkelposisjoner som hver innstiller en teoretisk ideell lukkehoyde for en bestemt kombinasjon av ledning og terminalstørrelser. Siden spesielt amboltslitasje og/eller mindre variasjoner i lednings- og terminaldimensjoner kan medføre at den innstilte ideelle krympehøyden blir feil, blir den virkelige krympehoyden som oppnås målt elektronisk eller mekanisk, og høyden til ambolten (22) blir automatisk justert i samsvar med en slik måling ved hjelp av en ytterligere servomotor (M2) for å justere lukkehøyden til formsettet (9) og ambolten (22), slik at den ideelle lukkehøyden oppnås.
