Abstract
Luftfjær dannet av et endeelement (2) og et stempelelement. (3) i innbyrdes aksial avstand, med en mellomliggende, elastomer, fleksibel hylse (8), slik at det er dannet et kammer som kan settes under trykk. En ringformet klemring (32) har en utsparing (33) i innerflaten som samvirker med et motsvarende, ringformet fremspring (21) på ytterflaten av stempelelementet (3), for å posisjonere ringen på stempelelementet. Et par klemflater (19A, 20A) befinner seg på hver sin side av fremspringet og er adskilt fra dette av ( a-ekspansjonsspor (23,24). Fremspringet og klemflåtene danner en rekke,knipeområder for hylsen (8), for tettende fastklemm-ing av hylsen. Ekspansjonssporene inneholder partier av. hylsen og endrer retningen til forsterkningstråder (9) inne i hylsen (8). Et annet, radialt ragende spor (26) inneholder en delvis komprimert ende av hylsen og utgjør et ytterligere ekspansjonsområde. Klemringen (32) ligger mot en skulder (12) på stempelelementet (3), for å minske bevegelse av. ringen under bruk av luftfjæren. Anbringelsen av ringen nær kanten til stempelelementet bevirker en hovedsakelig kontinuerlig flate som hylsen (8) ruller langs under bruk av luftfjæren, slik at slitasjen på hylsen minskes.
