Abstract

Throttle valve, esp. a non-return throttle valve, comprises a valve body contg. a cylindrical spindle having a tapered groove extending axially from the end of the spindle. The spindle is surrounded by an annular sealing element which fits into the seating, and is composed of two parts, the inner ring being of wear-resistant material possessing limited elasticity, esp. PTFE, and the outer ring being of a material having a higher elasticity, esp. rubber which exerts a prestressing force inwards onto the inner part.
