DEUTSCHESGERMAN
Bei Ventilen, deren Dichtdruck konstruktionsbedingt nur gering ist, z. B. kleine Magnetventile, hat man lange nach einem korrosionsfesten Material gesucht, das sich der verschließenden Ventilnadel gut anpaßt und doch infolge seiner Zähigkeit verschleißfest ist. Metalle eigneten sich nicht immer, da sie durch den hämmernden Schlag der Ventilnadel beim Schließen mehr oder weniger ausgeschlagen wurden. Mit den neuen Plastik-Materialien, wie z. B. Polyamid, kam man dem gewünschten Ziele schon bedeutend näher, doch ergab sich, daß die Materialien entweder zu spröde waren und zu Rissen neigten oder daß sie gegen Druck zu wenig standfest waren, weil sie mit der Zeit infolge einer gewissen Plastizität etwas nachgeben.
