Description
"Fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en tyggetablett".
Foreliggende oppfinnelse gjelder en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av komprimerte tyggetabletter som inneholder xylitol og en eller flere flerverdige alkoholer.
Xyli.tol er en naturlig sukkeralkohol som er kjent for sin anvendelse som sukkererstatning, spesielt for barn, fordi den er ikke-kariogen. Xylitol er således anvendt som sukkererstatning i melkesjokolade, tyggegummi, iskrem, gummi-aktige sukkertøy, puddinger, syltetøy, geleer, marmelade og liknende.
Det er også foreslått å anvende xylitol i komprimerte
tabletter. Det er imidlertid dessverre funnet at xylitol har meget dårlige tabletteringsegenskaper, og derfor er det aldri fremstilt tilfredsstillende komprimerte tabletter som inneholder xylitol.
Bruken av sorbitol som sukkererstatning i komprimerte
tabletter er velkjent. Bruk av sorbitol har imidlertid den ulempe at det dannes meget hårde tabletter som kan være for sprø eller på annen måte ubrukbare.
Det er nå funnet at komprimerte tyggetabletter som inneholder xylitol som sukkererstatning kan lages på en effektiv og økonomisk måte ved å anvende en polyol, som f.eks. sorbitol, i kombinasjon med xylitolen. Den komprimerte tablett som dannes er overraskende mykere enn og har forbedret tekstur sammenliknet med konvensjonelle, komprimerte tabletter som inneholder sorbitol alene som sukker-erstatning. En slik tablett er hårdere enn en tablett som bare inneholder xylitol, og en xylitol-tablett er for myk og sprø til å ha noen praktisk anvendelse.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer en tørr-blandet sammensetning som direkte kan presses til en tyggetablett og nevnte
tablett inneholder xylitol i en mengde av fra ca. 10 til ca. 80 vekt% av tabletten og en polyol i en mengde av fra ca. 10 til ca.
80 vekt%.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer således en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en komprimert tyggetablett som omfatter å tørr-blande xylitol i en mengde av fra 10 til 80 vekt% og en polyol i en mengde av fra 10 til 80 vekt% og direkte presse den tørr-blandede blandingen til en tyggetablett.
Den komprimerte tyggetablett eller sukkertøy av pepper-mynte-typen fremstilt ifølge oppfinnelsen inneholder xylitol i en mengde innen området fra ca. 10 til 80, fortrinnsvis fra ca. 20 til ca. 60, vekt% av tabletten, og en polyol i en mengde innenfor området av fra ca. 10 til ca. 80, fortrinnsvis fra ca. 20 til ca. 60, vekt% av tabletten. I tillegg kan tabletten inneholde smaksstoffer, farvestoffer, medikamenter, konserveringsmidler og liknende slik det er kjent for fagmannen.
Polyolene som er egnet for anvendelse ved fremgangs-måten ifølge oppfinnelsen omfatter, men er ikke begrenset til, sorbitol, mannitol, maltitol og hydrogenerte stivelsehydrolysater, og kombinasjoner derav, hvorav sorbitol er foretrukket.
I tillegg til xylitolen og polyolen kan sukkertøyet fremstilt ifølge oppfinnelsen inneholde syntetiske søtningsmidler som f.eks. natrium-sakkarin, kalsium-sakkarin, dihydrochalconer, glycyrrhizin, ammoniumsaltet av glycyrrhizinsyre, L-aspartyl-L-fenylalanin (metylester), så vel som Stevia rebaudiana (Steviosid), Richardella dulcifica (mirakelbær), Dioscoreophyllum cumminsii (Serendipity-bær), cyklamater og liknende.
Sukkertøy som fremstilles ifølge oppfinnelsen kan også inneholde smaksstoffer i en mengde av fra ca. 0,01 til ca. 10, fortrinnsvis fra ca. 0,2 til ca. 0,25, vekt%, f.eks. vinter-grønnolje, krusemynteolje, peppermynteolje, nellikolje, laurbær-olje, anisolje, eukalyptusolje, timianolje, sederbladolje, kanel-olje, muskatolje, salvieolje, bittermandelolje og cassiaolje og blandede frukter, naturlige og kunstige fruktsmaksstoffer som f.eks. askorbinsyre, sitronsyre, melkesyre, adipinsyre, eplesyre og vinsyre, krydderoljer, osv. Sukkertøyet kan også inneholde et tablettsmøremiddél, som f.eks. kalsiumstearat eller magnesiumstearat. Et foretrukket sukkertøy som er fremstilt ifølge oppfinnelsen kan således ha følgende prosentuelle sammensetning:

Følgende eksempler representerer foretrukne utførelses-former av oppfinnelsen.
EKSEMPEL 1
Fremstilling av tyggbart, komprimert peppermyntesukkertøy
De ovenstående ingredienser blandes grundig og tabletteres i en konvensjonell tablettpresse.
Når de sammenliknes med komprimerte kontroll-pepper-myntesukkertøy som ikke inneholder sorbitol eller xylitol, ob-serveres det at sukkertøyet ifølge eksempel 1 har bedre tekstur, er mykere og komprimeres lettere enn kontrollsukkertøyene.
EKSEMPEL 2
Fremstilling av tyggbar vitamintablett.
De ovenstående ingredienser blandes grundig og tabletteres i en konvensjonell tablettpresse.

vitamintyggetabletten fra eksempel 2 hadde bedre tekstur, var mykere og var lettere å komprimere enn kontrolltablettene.

Fremstilling av vitamintyggetablett.
Ovenstående ingredienser blandes grundig og tabletteres i en konvensjonell tablettpresse.
Når de ble sammenliknet med kontrollvitamintabletter uten mannitol og xylitol, viste det seg at vitamintyggetablettene fra eksempel 3 hadde bedre tekstur, var mykere og var lettere å komprimere enn kontrollvitamintablettene.
EKSEMPEL 4
Fremstilling av aspirin- tyggetabletter.
Ovenstående ingredienser blandes grundig og tabletteres i en konvensjonell tablettpresse.
Når de ble sammenliknet med kontrolltyggétabletter med aspirin uten sorbitol og xylitol, viste det seg at aspirintygge-tabletténe fra eksempel 4 hadde bedre tekstur, var mykere og var lettere å komprimere enn kontrolltablettene.
EKSEMPEL 5
Sammenlikning av komprimerte peppermyntesukkertøy.
Sammensetning ifølge oppfinnelsen
50G deler xylitol
500 deler sorbitol
4 deler peppermynteolje
10 deler magnesiumstearat
Hver av de tre ovenstående blandinger ble fremstilt ved
å tørr-blande de forskjellige ingrediensene og deretter direkte presse de tørr-blandede blandingene til tabletter ved å bruke en konvensjonell tablettpresse. Tablettene hadde i hvert tilfelle samme vekt og størrelse (tykkelse). De oppnådde resultater er som følger.
Kontroll A-tabletten var ekstremt sprø, meget myk og ikke i stand til å tåle den minste påkjenning, slik som den ut-settes for under konvensjonelle pakkemetoder.
Kontroll B-tabletten som bare inneholdt sorbitol, var ikke søt nok og var meget hård og uegnet som tyggetablett.
Blandingen ifølge oppfinnelsen som inneholdt en blanding av xylitol og sorbitol, hadde en behagelig, søt smak, var myk nok til å kunne tygges, men hård nok til å motstå den normale påkjenning under standard pakkemetoder.
Claims (7)
1. Fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en komprimert tyggetablett, karakterisert ved at fra 10 til 80 vekt% xylitol og fra 10 til 80 vekt% polyol tørrblandes og komprimeres direkte til en tyggetablett.
2. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at det som polyol anvendes sorbitol eller mannitol.
3. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at xylitolen, polyolen, et smøremiddel og et smaksstoff tørr-blandes og komprimeres direkte til en tyggetablett.
4. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at xylitol, polyolen, og et medikament tørr-blandes og komprimeres direkte til en tyggetablett.
5. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at det anvendes et forhold mellom xylitol og sorbitol på fra 2:1 til 1:2.
6. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at fra 20 til 60 vekt% xylitol og fra 20 til 60 vekt% sorbitol eller mannitol tørr-blandes og komprimeres direkte til en tyggetablett..
7. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at fra 30 til 60 vekt% xylitol, fra 30 til 60 vekt% sorbitol, fra 0,01 til 2 vekt% smaksstoffer og fra 0,1 til 3 vekti av et smøremiddel tørrblandes og deretter komprimeres til en tyggetablett.
