Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen er rettet mot en forbedret katalysatorfastfase og til den resulterende katalysatoren egnet for å behandle eksosprodukter fra innvendige forbrenningsmotorer, særlig dieselmotorer. Fastfasen av den forliggende oppfinnelsen er en struktur som omfatter partikulær aluminakjerne som har høyt porøsitets- og overflatearealet, hvori strukturen har fra omtrent 1 til 8 vektprosent silika i formen av bekledning på overflatearealet av nevnte aluminakjerne. Den resulterende fastfasen har en svoveltoleranseeffektivitet (n) på minst 1000 ug/m.
