Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en forbedret rivestøvel som inkluderer en bærerseksjon, og en rivetannseksjon som har en høyfast tupp tilpasset til å festes med presspasning i en kontaktende derav. I operasjon er bærerseksjonen plassert over og tilpasset til å passe over et rivestøvelskaft av en bulldozer, eller ett eller flere skaft av en skuffe av en gravemaskins lasteinnretning. Ved bruk av en høyfast tupp som er festet med presspasning, er mindre vedlikehold påkrevet på rivestøvelen under drift, hvilket betyr at maskineriet ikke behøver å være uvirksomt så ofte, hvilket sparer betydelig tid og kostnad. Årsaken til dette er at tuppen er laget av et høyfast metall, så som wolfram, som har mindre lett for å slites, slik at det kan brukes i betydelig lengre perioder før det blir slitt. Videre har man funnet at hardt og abrasivt fjell foran wolframtuppen "eksploderer" i sin vei, hvilket resulterer i lokaliseringen av edelsteiner som ellers ikke ville ha blitt funnet ved bruk av konvensjonelt utstyr.
