Abstract
En sparplattform (200) for bruk til havs ved boring etter eller produksjon av fossile brensler innbefatter et skrog (202) som har en senterbrønn (204). En lufttett og vanntett barriere (210) strekker seg på tvers av senterbrønnen og tildanner et variabelt oppdriftskammer (220) i senterbrønnen. I visse utførelsesformer er senterbrønnen åpen i bunnen mot sjøen, mens i visse andre utførelsesformer er senterbrønnen avtettet i bunnen. I det minste én hylse (224) som skal romme et stigerør (227), strekker seg gjennom barrieren og det variable oppdriftskammer til bunnen av senterbrønnen.
