Abstract

En variasjon av fremgangsmåter for termisk utvinning av naturgass og bitumen fra en formasjon som inneholder det sistnevnte. Generelt sett omfatter fremgangsmåtene en serie med eksisterende men før ikke-kombinerte teknologier. En modifisert brenngass fra dampgeneratorer konvensjonelt anvendt i en SAGD utvinningsoperasjon blir sprøytet inn i formasjonen for å øke utvinningen med de produserte fluidene, naturgass, bitumen, inter alia er videre behandlet. Den konvensjonelle injeksjonen av brenngass er fjernet og vil videre gjenopprette trykket til formasjonen som ellers mister trykket når naturgassen er borte. Derved er miljø og økonomiske fordeler oppnådd ved den foreliggende fremgangsmåten.
